Research Project for Eye on Hood Canal
You will be writing about an animal that is found in the tidal zones in or around Hood Canal. The goal of this project is to find out about the animal and how it relates to the other animals of the beach habitat in the Hood Canal watershed.
· Pre-write: Write what you know about an animal of Hood Canal.
· Research: Find out more about an animal that lives in the tidal zones of Hood Canal.

1. Write a paragraph that includes important facts about the animal that lives in the Hood Canal watershed. Include the tidal zone of Hood Canal that it will it spend most of its time?
2. Write a paragraph about how it interacts (relates) to other animals in this habitat or tidal zone.
3. Write a paragraph about why you chose this animal and why it is interesting to you.
